I remember back in 2001 when I got my first Subaru WRX that the import scene in AZ was really non existant. You would see mostly Honda and Acura, but nothing fully done up. Over the past 7 years Arizona has really progressed into a serious scene to watch out for. We have seen some of the highest horsepower cars come from here, magazine covers, and even highly competitive race teams. Back when the days of mini trucks were cool and there was a section for “under construction”, we have finally evolved. Out for a drive on the weekend and I spot this odd shaped vehicle on the Loop 202. As I accelerate closer, yes it really is a widebody Scion TC. Whomever owns this car, much props, looked good, definitely different, and good to see AZ still progressing.
Oh snap, That WAS an old TSP car. That car runs IForged Wheels, Tein Coilovers, built 2.4 and Turbonetics kit. Belongs to a doctor.
I put the turbo kit on that car, and the exhaust the guy did not like, but was very well put together.
Guys name eludes me, but hes $80k deep into that car.
280whp I think it had, HORRIBLE torque steer, but those wheels sure look good!
btw, TSP shit on that car left and right, we had to fix numerous issues with it, missing drivetrain bolts, shotty exhaust, widebody that wasnt correctly supported ect…
