Spring Driven Reels
For safe and easy operation, Cox Reels Spring Driven Reels use an isolated factory-tuned and matched cartridge-style spring motor. The spring-loaded tension allows the reel to self-retract the cord, hose, or cable without external power, making it an excellent cost-effective alternative to motorized reels. The rope, hose, or cable is secured at the correct length using a multi-position lock ratchet mechanism.
EZ Coil Reels
The only option for secure spring-driven cord, hose, and cable reel usage in the workplace is Cox Reels Safety Series reels with the unique EZ-Coil Safety Rewind System, developed and produced solely by Cox Reels. When drawing out the cord, hose, or cable, EZ-Coil works uni-directionally with no increase in resistance. However, when engaged during recoil, it regulates the spring motor's aggressive energy, resulting in a reel that retracts at a safe and steady rate!
