Mono tube dampers allow for more accurate and stable control and adjustment of dampening. A lower ride height and center of gravity provide a more stable ride. The dust boot protects the shaft from flying stones, while the PNE coating offers 5 times better durability over standard galvanizing. This feature prevents build-up around the threads of the adjustment areas, allowing for easier height adjustment. The new M shaft design of the cylinder shaft increases the cylinder shaft size to ensure firm damping even at a minimal stroke range due to optimized oil pressure characteristics. HKS mainly adopted this design for the rear damper, enhancing the overall driving experience. A newly designed needle has been utilized to improve very low speed, middle, and high-speed dampening, which is key to ensuring a comfortable ride. To reduce unsprung weight, the brackets, ride height adjusters, and lock nuts are made from aluminum (not for all vehicles). With 30 levels of dampening adjustment, fine-tuning for street or circuit driving is easily achievable.
