Introducing the new HKS R-Type Intercooler. The new R-Type core, part number 13001-AN013, was specially designed to improve response. It enables as quick boost response as the stock intercooler. When a vehicle is stopped, the stock intercooler core retains heat from the engine compartment, which can lead to knocking and potential engine damage when the car restarts. The front mount intercooler decreases intake air temperature by 20 deg. C compared to the stock intercooler, allowing for safe and reliable tuning.
