The HKS suspension system allows for vehicle height adjustment, enabling a maximum lowering of -45mm compared to stock suspension. This innovative design combines durability for extreme driving conditions with a comfortable ride, all while providing a sporty lowdown look. Testing was conducted on the touge-like circuit at Gunma Cycling Center, also known as Gunsai, with renowned Japanese racing driver Manabu Orido.
- Springs: The springs feature a variable pitch of barrel that stabilizes the car body.
- Ride Height Adjuster: This adjuster can be utilized with the stock lower spring set, and dust boots can be installed using the same stock suspension.
- Rear Bump Rubber: HKS has developed a new rear bump rubber specifically for the Z4 M40i, enhancing durability and performance for lowered applications.
- Rear Dust Boots: Since the stock dust boot is incompatible with the kit, HKS has created a new one for those who wish to have it installed.
- Spring Rate F/R: 42.6/116.8(N/mm), Height: F=-25 to -45 R=0 to -50 (mm)
