MagnaFlow uses both Ceramic and Metallic substrates with different combinations of cell density and wall thickness to meet vehicle specific requirements. MagnaFlow Direct-Fit Catalytic Converters are designed for easy bolt-on installation for the Professional Installer. Each is designed to exact the original equipment specifications. While the majority of the Direct-Fit Catalytic Converter products do not require welding, cutting or bending, limited applications may require additional welding for optimal installation.

PERFORMANCE EXHAUST PRODUCTS WARRANTY
The manufacturer warrants that all MagnaFlow Performance Products are free from defects. Most of our exhaust products are warranted against blowouts and defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle on which it was originally installed. The warranty is void if the exhaust products are not installed properly on the vehicle for which it is designed.

This warranty does not apply to any exhaust product which has been installed on any commercial or racing vehicle or which has been improperly installed, altered, or subjected to misuse or damage from accidents. Also, cost of labor and any additional parts required to complete installation of a replacement product are not covered by this warranty.

The warranty certificate, along with proof of purchase, MUST be presented to the service outlet from which you originally purchased the exhaust product, or any participating dealer, when making a claim for replacement. The original exhaust product must also be returned and exchanged for a new exhaust product of the same part number.

No other warranty, expressed or implied (including merchantability), applies to the exhaust product, nor is any person or the manufacturer authorized to assume any other warranty. The manufacturer does not assume any responsibility for any consequential damages occurred by the exhaust product, or inconvenience or interruption in any operation.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

CATALYTIC CONVERTERS WARRANTIES
Original Warranty Certificate and Installation Statement:
To be completely filled out by installer and returned to manufacturer. Include dealer name, complete address and phone number. Include customer name, complete address and phone number. Vehicle make, year, model, engine size, mileage and date must be filled out. The part number installed must be filled out. The Installation Statement must be completed by installer, stating the reason for replacement. Vehicle owner and installer must sign and date the Warranty Certificate /Installation Statement.

Catalytic Converter Warranty Statement Installer's Copy:
To be retained by Installer with copy of the invoice for six (6) months.

Customer's Copy:
To be retained by the vehicle owner.

Catalytic Converters are emission control devices which are designed to last the life of the vehicle and do not normally require replacement. Furthermore, if the vehicle is properly used and maintained, original converters are covered by the emission control warranty for 8 years or 80,000 miles. Federal law prohibits repair businesses from replacing these devices except under certain limited circumstances. In order to verify that proper circumstances exist, the owner of the vehicle on which such repairs are made and a facility representative must sign the required statements on the warranty card. To avoid failing a warranty audit, please follow the instructions to ensure the new cards are filled out correctly and distributed accordingly.

MOTORCYCLE PRODUCTS WARRANTY
MagnaFlow motorcycle exhaust products, including Arlen Ness by MagnaFlow exhaust systems, are warranted against defects in material and/or assembly workmanship only for a period of 1 year from invoice date. This Warranty is void if the Product is not installed properly on the vehicle for which it is designed. This Warranty does not apply to any Product which has been installed on any commercial or racing vehicle or which has been improperly installed, modified, altered or subjected to misuse or damage from accidents; including excessive heat. Also, cost of labor and any additional parts or components required to complete installation of a replacement Product are not covered by this Warranty; including coatings, paints and/or finishes, flaws or rust. MagnaFlow including Arlen Ness by MagnaFlow exhaust systems are designed to fit and operate on original OEM motors and chassis with no modifications of any type on the motorcycle.

Proof of purchase from an authorized retailer must accompany any warranty claim. The original Product that is deemed to be under warranty may only be returned and/or exchanged for a Product of the same part number. No other warranty, expressed or implied (including merchantability), applies to the Products, nor is any person including the manufacturer authorized to assume any other warranty. Dealers and distributors are not authorized to make warranty judgments or claims regarding MagnaFlow products. The manufacturer does not assume any responsibility for any consequential damages occasioned by the Product, or inconvenience or interruption in any operation, service or shipping. All approved warranty returns must be accompanied by a return authorization number. Parts returned to MagnaFlow without a return authorization and accompanying documentation may be refused. No parts will be accepted with freight due.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which may vary from State to State. Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

The warranties set forth herein are exclusive and, unless otherwise required by applicable law, no other warranties are made by MagnaFlow or are authorized to be made with respect to the Product.
