OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts play a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of vehicles and machinery.

Here's why OEM parts are important:
  • Precision and Compatibility: OEM parts are designed and manufactured by the same company that produced the original equipment. This ensures a precise fit and compatibility with the specific make and model of the vehicle or machine. Using OEM parts helps maintain the original performance and functionality.
  • Reliability: OEM parts are known for their reliability and consistency. Manufacturers invest in research and development to continually improve their products, providing customers with reliable components that contribute to the overall durability and longevity of the equipment.
  • Ease of Installation: Since OEM parts are designed to fit perfectly with the original equipment, they often facilitate easier and quicker installations. Mechanics and technicians appreciate the simplicity and efficiency of working with parts that are specifically engineered for the equipment they are servicing.
  • Quality Assurance: OEM parts undergo rigorous testing and adhere to the manufacturer's quality standards. This commitment to quality ensures that the parts meet or exceed the performance specifications required for the equipment. Customers can trust that OEM parts are built to last and maintain the integrity of the original design.

Who is TRW?

TRW is a company that develops and produces active and passive safety systems for a variety of vehicles from different manufacturers around the globe. The company is based in Livonia, Michigan and has placed numerous facilities in more than 20 countries worldwide.

Pioneering Company

For more than 100 years, the company has always created new products that set the standards when it comes to quality.  In 1908, they created the first wooden wheels for Ford Model T. They followed this up with the parking brakes for the same company and created other technological breakthroughs such as the hydraulic brake systems and integral power steering.

TRW continued its tradition of introducing innovative vehicle features such as an electronically controlled Anti-lock braking system or ABS and power rack and pinion.

Complete Facility

They have spared no expense when it comes to the development of their products. With 22 technical centers and 13 test tracks located in different locations,  they are able to gather valuable information that helps them create the best products in the market.

As the automotive industry is on its way towards automated driving functions, TRW is already ahead as it already offers systems that are the foundation of this technology such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, lane change assist, blind spot detection, emergency brake assist and emergency steering assist.
