The latest decades include vehicles with over 500 hp, a chassis weight of about 2 tons, and marvelous performance that rivals racing cars often seen in the city. To cater to this demand, the TE37 Ultra 20 inch was added to the lineup, followed by the 19 inch variant. In 2016, the TE37 Ultra Track Edition with machined side pockets achieved a -200g weight loss with a center cap-less specification. Fast forward to 2019, and we see the debut of the even lighter TE37 Ultra Track Edition II, a necessary evolution in the TE37 series. RAYS analyzed every gram of useless weight again, achieving a remarkable reduction in the center part of the wheel (root of spoke) using analytic technology derived from the development of the WEC LMP-1 and Super GT GT500 class competition wheels. While the weight reduction was just 60g, it signifies a significant evolution in wheel design.
