In the latest decades, vehicles with over 500 hp and around 2-ton chassis weight have become the norm, showcasing performance that rivals racing cars while cruising through city streets. To meet this growing demand, the TE37 Ultra 20 inch was introduced, followed by the 19 inch variant. The evolution continued with the 2016 release of the TE37 Ultra Track Edition, which featured machined side pockets that achieved a remarkable -200g weight reduction with a center cap-less design.

Fast forward to 2019, and we see the debut of the even lighter TE37 Ultra Track Edition II in the TE37 series, a necessary evolution in wheel technology. RAYS utilized advanced analytic technology, originally developed for WEC LMP-1 and Super GT GT500 class competition wheels, to further reduce unnecessary weight. The center part of the wheel (root of the spoke) was trimmed by just 60g, but this small change signifies a significant leap in performance. The new Blast Black color adds a sleek aesthetic, and the model accommodates a center cap for those who prefer street driving.
